Our Program

Unlock your filmmaking potential with this immersive workshop! Over the course of two intensive weeks, you’ll gain an understanding of the entire film production process — from pre-production and filming to post-production and acting.

Mentored by top-tier industry professionals from both Italy and the U.S., you'll be guided every step of the way. You'll actively collaborate on a short film shot on the vibrant streets of Rome, gaining invaluable real-world experience.

This workshop isn’t just about creating; it’s about preparing you for a successful career in the film and television industry. You’ll learn professional techniques, develop industry-ready skills, and build lasting connections with both fellow filmmakers and industry experts.

Not only will you return home with a film you’ve helped create or acted in, but you'll also have made new friends and professional colleagues from around the globe.

The workshop culminates with an exclusive screening of all films at a theater in Rome, attended by industry professionals, instructors, and guests. Celebrate your achievement with an unforgettable after-party!

Robert Corna

Program Director

Robert Corna has been working as an Assistant Director and Location Manager in the film industries of New York, LA. Cleveland and Rome, Italy since 1995. He has had the opportunity to work with the likes of Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, Ron Howard, Cameron Diaz, Al Pacino, MGK, Jane Fonda, Jon Voight, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Some of the titles that Corna worked on include Devil's Advocate, Summer of Sam, Law and Order: SVU, Angels and Demons, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, F8: Fate of The Furious, The Land, and White Noise.

He recently finished producing and directing The Magic City, a narrative feature shot with an all student crew. As a nonfiction filmmaker, Corna has directed several feature documentaries around the world on subjects such as children in Uganda, Brazil, Thailand and The U.S. living with HIV, an earthquake in Italy, a Tsunami in Thailand, as well as The World Cup in Brazil. 

Corna received his Masters of Cinematic Arts from The University of Southern California

Tuition: $2,950                                                                                                                      

Includes housing, breakfast, equipment rental, instruction, local transportation in Rome, opening dinner, final screening, and final party,

Room and board:

Students will stay in shared rooms in a hotel, dormitory, or apartment( based on availability) for 14 nights. Breakfast will be provided.

Transportation:

Students are responsible for their own transportation to Rome. While in Rome, students will be provided with a public transportation pass for the duration of the program.

Class Structure:

Students will spend 4 to 7 hours per day in class. Shooting days could last longer based on the production schedule they create for their films. This schedule is subject to change.
